Taiwan reported no new local cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday. Health authorities also reported 39 more imported cases among people arriving in Taiwan. There were no deaths reported.
This is the second time in a week that Taiwan has reported zero new domestic cases. Before March 10, the last time Taiwan reported no new local cases was on January 1.
For the 39 new imported cases, ten of them tested positive on arrival in Taiwan, while the remaining 29 tested positive in quarantine. They include travelers from Vietnam, Indonesia, and the US, among others. Health authorities are still verifying the travel history of four travelers.
