Taiwan’s foreign ministry says that a delegation of Taiwanese officials and specialists will visit three European countries later this month. The group will travel to Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Lithuania. Taiwan will be represented by officials from the ministries of foreign affairs, economic affairs, science and technology, and education.
While in Europe, the delegation will study key industries and development processes in the three countries. The goal of the visit is also to find more areas for Taiwan and the three countries to work together and strengthen business and industrial ties.
Taiwan sent a delegation to Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Lithuania in October last year. During that visit, government representatives signed memorandums on cooperation in a number of fields.
