Taiwan reported 439 new local cases of COVID-19 on Monday.
Most of the newly reported domestic cases are from the greater Taipei area in northern Taiwan. Taipei recorded 100 new cases, while neighboring New Taipei City reported 145. Keelung had the next highest number, with 36 local cases on Monday.
The remaining cities and counties reported the following numbers of local cases:

Taiwan also recorded 191 imported cases of COVID-19 on Monday. One hundred and seventeen of them tested positive on arrival in Taiwan, while the remaining 74 tested positive in quarantine. They include travelers coming from Vietnam, Indonesia, and South Korea, among others.
There were no deaths from COVID-19 on Monday.
