Taipei will host a charity concert to show solidarity with Ukraine on Sunday, with the culture ministry calling it a way to “focus compassion through music”. The event at Taipei’s National Concert Hall will feature music by Ukrainian composers Mykola Lysenko and Myroslav Skoryk, as well as classic pieces by Frederic Chopin and Samuel Barber.
The event is being organized by the Polish Office in Taipei, alongside the foreign ministry, the culture ministry and the Taipei Philharmonic Foundation for Culture and Education.
Taiwan’s foreign ministry will donate all profits from the event to charities helping Ukrainian refugees.
