Taiwan has signed a memorandum of cooperation with one of India’s top universities.
Jawaharlal Nehru University’s School of International Studies and Taiwan’s representative office in India signed the memorandum on Tuesday. The agreement is meant to foster exchanges and cooperation between the college and Taiwan.
The agreement will last three years. Every year during that period, the university will send professors and students to conduct research in Taiwan. Taiwan will also send students studying international relations throughout the country for short exchanges at the university in Delhi.
The university additionally plans to offer more courses on Taiwan’s politics, economy, and society, as well as conferences focused on Taiwan studies.
