Beginning January 1st, all inbound passengers traveling on the three mini links routes will be required to take saliva PCR tests.

After inspecting the Taoyuan and Kinmen entry points, Deputy Health Minister Wang Pi-sheng (王必勝) visited Matsu's Nangan Fuao and Beigan Baisha ports on Friday. He also went to the nearby Lienchiang County Hospital to learn about local medical capacity and quarantine operations.

Wang says he is mainly concerned with the epidemic prevention capacity of the three mini link arrival points. He met with Lianjiang County Magistrate Chung Ming-hsiang (忠銘向) to review the movement of inbound passengers and the current preparation status.

Wang says small adjustments will be made to the arrival process. The central command center will also ensure enough manpower and materials are provided for the upcoming high-traffic Spring Festival season.
