Taiwan will attend the APEC Finance and Central Bank Deputies’ Meeting hosted by the United States later this month. That was the word from Foreign Ministry official Sharon Wu (吳尚年) on Tuesday. Wu and Vice Finance Minister Juan Ching-hwa (阮清華) will represent Taiwan at the meeting.
Wu says the meetings will include topics ranging from trade and investment, food security, marine and fisheries issues, anti-corruption, and transparency. She says the meetings will also address concerns regarding the digital economy, health, technology and innovation.
Wu says more than 120 representatives from different industries in Taiwan will attend and seek opportunities for cooperation at the event.
