Some visitors have given this forest a nickname. They call it Totoro Forest after the famous destination in Itoshima.
One woman said she brought her mother-in-law to see the beautiful bald pine trees. She said it feels like they’re traveling abroad.
One mother said the scene is as pretty as a painting. They feel like they’re walking around in a lovely painting.
Whether it’s the view from above or enjoying a drive amidst the trees, the forest offers a feast for the eyes.
On the southern tip of Taiwan in the Hengchun Peninsula, people can also enjoy this terminalia mangrove tunnel where the leaves are also turning red.
