Premier Chen Chien-jen (陳建仁) calls for effective, simple, and convenient revitalization policies in the post-COVID era. Chen was speaking on Thursday at a Cabinet meeting where different ministries gave reports on policies for strengthening social resilience after the pandemic.
Cabinet spokesperson Chen Tsung-yen (陳宗彥) says the premier called on all ministries to ensure the effective implementation of policies. Chen emphasizes that measures must be simple and convenient for the public, so that people in need can receive government assistance more easily and quickly.
At the meeting, the Cabinet proposed more support for housing loans and increasing rental subsidies, while the Education Ministry suggested a subsidy program for education loans. As for the Culture Ministry, it proposed programs to revitalize bookstores and promote traditional performances in remote villages.
