A streaming-only film festival for stories focused on children kicked off Friday on the Taiwan Public Television Service’s streaming platform PTS Plus. The festival will showcase thirteen films from around the world that highlight the themes of war, family, dreams, and mental health as they relate to children.
One of the films, "My Favorite War," tells the personal story a boy who grew up in Cold-War Latvia under Soviet control.
A Danish production "It's Not Okay," sheds light on the struggles children face after experiencing physical and mental abuse at home.
The Dutch TV series "War Stories" follows a teenager trying to document her life through social media during wartime.
The festival presents a diverse range of content including animation, movies, documentaries, and TV series.
