In response to China’s military intimidation, Taiwan’s air force is holding a 3-day  joint military exercise with the Navy starting Monday.

Taiwan’s F-16 V fighter jets,  Dassault Mirage 2000, and F-CK-1 combat aircrafts will work with the Navy’s anti-submarine aircrafts and drones to familiarize strategies and assess military strengths.

Apart from the military exercises, the air force is also holding an intensive training program in Hualien, where airforce instructors teach advanced tactics and strategies to the combat teams.

According to the Air Force command, this type of training will be more common in the future. Through the joint training programs, Taiwan aims to teach the trainees about the limitations, capabilities, and operational concepts of different branches of the military.
