Taiwan's unique culture continues to make waves across the world - and we're not just talking about bubble tea - a Taiwanese performing arts group will be making it to Budapest this summer.

The General Association of Chinese Culture is joining hands with the Paper Windmill Theatre this June to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the founding of Budapest.
The association and theatre group were invited by the Budapest City Government to showcase Taiwan's unique culture. The theatre group's most popular play draws inspiration from the well-known story Fengshen Bang, or the Creation of the Gods, and includes acrobatic fighting, glove puppetry and animation.
Secretary-General of the association Li Hou-ching (李厚慶 ) says he hopes the warmth and cultural power of the Paper Windmill Theatre's tour will help deepen Hungary-Taiwan relations. He adds that he hopes they will provide an opportunity for Ukrainian children in the Hungarian capital to smile again.
Culture Minister Shih Che (史哲) says he too hopes the Ukrainian refugees and children will be able to enjoy the Taiwanese performances. He says the tour goes beyond diplomacy and shows Taiwan's commitment to standing with the international community.
The group will perform from June 16 to June 21 in Budapest.
