Thai actor Pakorn Chatborirak, nicknamed Boy, has been invited to be the Taiwan Tourism Bureau’s first brand ambassador for the Thai market. Boy is the leading actor of Channel 3, one of Thailand's two major wireless TV stations. Since his debut in 2008, he has performed in many TV dramas and movies, and has won numerous awards for most popular actor and for best actor.
Boy went to Taiwan to shoot a promotional video which was released by the Tourism Bureau Bangkok Office during a press conference on the 13th. In the video, Boy enjoyed Taiwan’s Michelin-starred food and stir-fry and visited well-known tourist attractions.
In an interview with the Central News Agency, Boy said that he has been to Taiwan many times before and feels that Taiwan and Thailand have similar cultures. Boy also likes the night market because of the variety of delicious and cheap food choices. His favorite Taiwanese food are boba milk tea, Taiwanese popcorn chicken, and mala hot pot since he likes spicy food. He is very happy to be the brand ambassador for Taiwan’s Tourism Bureau.
