Taiwan’s brands featured in a four-day franchise exhibition in Thailand are seeing widespread popularity and business opportunities. The economic ministry led the showcase of Taiwanese companies in the New Southbound market, which concluded on Wednesday.
Representatives from Thailand, India, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, Canada, and many other countries attended the event and a total of 24 buyers signed letters of intent to cooperate. The Taiwanese companies included hand-shaken drink brands, restaurants, health care labels, and other businesses.
The economic ministry says that it will once again lead a Taiwan brand showcase to the Korean International Franchise Show in October, adding that there are ongoing plans for international business exchanges in the future. The ministry says it will continue providing diversified opportunities and platforms to publicize Taiwan's brands’ strengths and culture, and to enhance the country’s international visibility.
