Representatives from 23 Taiwanese universities and colleges are participating in The European Association for International Education’s (EAIE) 2023 conference and exhibition in the Netherlands this week. The group is led by the chair of the Foundation for International Cooperation in Higher Education of Taiwan Wu Cheng-chi (吳正己).
The foundation says that the exhibition aims to create a platform for inter-school collaboration and communication. Through displays, lectures, and special events, it will showcase Taiwan's high-quality education environment, as well as its inclusive and welcoming culture and lifestyle. The goal it says, is to foster international connections, attract European students to pursue studies in Taiwan, and elevate Taiwan's international influence in higher education.
Wu says that despite the impact of COVID-19 in recent years, he has continued actively promoting the advantages of studying in Taiwan, including participating in the EAIE conference and other higher education forums.
