Vice presidential candidate of the blue KMT’s Jaw Shaw-kong (趙少康) and
Legislator Lu Ming-che (魯明哲) accompanied the convoy with a loudspeaker, campaigning in Taoyuan on Tuesday. Jaw expressed his gratitude to the supporters as they enthusiastically waved national flags and cheered.
As the presidential candidates prepare for policy presentations, all three vice presidential candidates have full schedules.
In the white camp, the TPP’s vice presidential candidate Cynthia Wu (吳欣盈) held a campaign rally in Hualien, where she directly approached supporters, engaging in close interaction and taking a group photo. Wu said that she likes Hualien very much and also pointed out her 20 years of experience in finance and charity.
Green DPP’s vice presidential candidate Hsiao Bi-khim (蕭美琴) returned to her hometown of Changhua. In her speech, Hsiao shared personal anecdotes, saying that her father had the opportunity to study in the United States, and after obtaining a Ph.D. he returned to Taiwan to serve.
As election day draws closer, both vice presidential and presidential candidates will continue to push themselves on the campaign trail.
