Taiwan is gearing up for a strong presence at the 2024 Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2024) in the United States, with the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) leading 96 teams. Nearly one-third of these teams focus on artificial intelligence, showcasing Taiwan's commitment to cutting-edge tech.
During a press conference on Wednesday, NSTC Minister Wu Tsung-tsong (吳政忠) in his speech emphasized a strategic shift beyond hardware to integrate Taiwan’s technology seamlessly into global lifestyles. He says that this is Taiwan’s 7th participation in CES and hopes to showcase Taiwan’s technological strength to the world.
There will be many startups at the event presenting innovative products, including a cloud gaming controller for on-the-go gaming, allowing users to experience a console-like experience accessible by their phone.
Strengthening ties in semiconductor technology with the United States, Taiwan will also host a semiconductor conference during CES. Presentations from IC application startups have been arranged to attract international investment. The goal is to showcase Taiwan's technological prowess globally and foster collaboration with top talents and enterprises worldwide.
