The Haihu submarine incident has brought together the community to mobilize various strategies to continue search efforts for the missing crew members.
Video script:
The naval submarine Haihu (Sea Tiger) was on duty near Lambai Island when six crew members fell into the sea due to large waves, with three rescued and three still missing.
On civilian boats, crew members continually scan the horizon. Amidst the vast sea, the goal is to locate the three sailors missing from the Haihu submarine incident.
Vice President of The Dafu Shipping Transportation Chi Ching-sheng (冀慶生) stated that immediately after the incident, all crew members were instructed to be extra vigilant during passenger transport.
According to the latest navy search updates, around 2 p.m. on Wednesday, another red inflatable life jacket was found in the southern waters of Lambai Island associated with the Haihu submarine. Friends and family, unwilling to give up hope, reach out online for assistance from anyone in the area.
In response to their urgent requests for help, residents and boat operators in Lambai Island are aiding in the search. Even diving instructors with tourists, fishermen, and civilian vessels have joined the search. Drone enthusiasts have spontaneously taken to the skies over the harbor to locate the missing individuals.
The missing crew members have been at sea for over a week, while their relatives employ any means they can to mobilize civilian efforts, all in the hope of bringing the three sailors home. Desperate pleas from family members echo, urging the missing crew to return from the cold, harsh, winter sea.
