A recent survey by the Association of International Cultural and Educational Exchange (AICEE) Taiwan revealed on Wednesday that 86% of international students are willing to come to Taiwan to study and stay after graduation. The study covered responses from 2,175 students.

The AICEE’s report emphasized Taiwan's appeal amid global post-COVID recovery. Taiwan stands out with incentives for educational and professional opportunities for international talent. According to the report, the top factors drawing international students to Taiwan include high-quality education (24%), a secure learning environment (15%), and Mandarin learning opportunities (14%). Scholarship information is crucial for 31% of respondents, while 17% seek details on courses and tuition.

The survey emphasized that prospective international students prioritize universities offering scholarships (24%), English-taught programs (17%), and excellent teaching quality (14%). For those interested in learning Mandarin, factors such as scholarships (23%), teaching quality (15%), and school location (10%) are crucial.
