The 2024 Consumer Electronics Show or CES began in Las Vegas on Tuesday. Taiwanese computer companies showed they are no slouches when it comes to including features powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI) in their products.

New computers with AI features from Taiwan’s computer makers have people saying, “A, I want one of those new toys!” The new products premiered at the 2024 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas on Tuesday local time.
ASUS premiered its new Duo laptop which features dual screens and a detachable keyboard. The Duo also features a dedicated button for Microsoft Copilot, the company’s new AI chatbot based on OpenAI’s GPT-4 model.
Acer premiered new entries to its Swift and Aspire series laptops. And MSI also showed off its newest gaming laptops, which include a dedicated AI engine that adjusts hardware settings based on usage.
The show saw strong competition from major chip companies such as Intel, AMD, and Nvidia. The event also saw CEO speeches and panels, with each company debuting new hardware aimed at high-end gaming and AI applications.
Whether AI is a gimmick or not, tech companies in Taiwan and around the world are hustling to stay ahead of the game.
