In an effort to provide clearer information to the Taiwanese public, the Defense Ministry updated its diagrams of Chinese incursions.

This is the latest video released by the People’s Liberation Army Eastern Theater Command which depicts live-fire exercises being conducted in what is claimed to be the airspace and waters surrounding Taiwan.
Observers have also noticed how two Chinese helicopters were posing as civilian aircrafts flying in the middle of the Taiwan Strait.
On heightened concerns following these developments, the Defense Ministry responded that they are aware of these incidents and are closely monitoring the situation.
The Defense Ministry also said that diagrams depicting Chinese military incursions have been updated. The new version includes information on the Chinese air base where military aircraft took off from and the closest distance flown to Taiwan in nautical miles.
Defense Ministry Spokesperson Sun Li-Fang (孫立方) said that adjustments and refinements are constantly being made to the way maritime and airspace information is presented to the public without compromising intelligence sources.
