Current Vice President and President-elect Lai Ching-te (賴清德) will embark on a series of visits to five major industrial sectors before taking office, announced the DPP’s Spokesperson Justin Wu (吳崢) on Wednesday.
Following his recent engagement with semiconductor companies in Hsinchu, Wu says that Lai plans to meet representatives from national defense, innovation, traditional and agricultural industries, as well as the green economy sector. The objective is to facilitate face-to-face dialogues and gain insights from these key sectors over the next two months.
Moreover, to strengthen public outreach, Lai has commissioned Wu to launch and host the DPP’s first live-streamed show premiering on Wednesday evening. The aim is to establish direct communication channels and disseminate the party's narratives through diverse formats, including dialogues with DPP’s representatives from counties and cities around Taiwan highlighting local achievements.
