Computex 2024's keynote speech will be delivered by Chair and CEO Dr. Lisa Su (蘇姿丰) of Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD), a U.S.-based AI chip manufacturer. That’s according to an announcement made by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) on Tuesday.
In a session titled “The future of high-performance computing in the AI era”, Su’s speech will delve into how AMD is breaking through the limits of artificial intelligence (AI) and high-performance computing. TAITRA says Su’s speech is scheduled at 9:30 a.m. on June 3 and comes at an opportune time as global enterprises are focused on AI and its potential capabilities.
This year’s Computex will be held on June 4-7 at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center Hall with the theme “Connecting AI”. Held annually, Computex is one of the largest computer and technology trade shows in the world. This year, 1,500 exhibitors are expected to occupy 4,500 booths to showcase six main product categories: AI computing, advanced connectivity, future mobility, immersive reality, sustainability, and innovation.
