Premier-designate Cho Jung-tai (卓榮泰) announced on Tuesday the latest Cabinet personnel updates, with four incumbent Cabinet members remaining in their respective posts.
Acting Agriculture Minister Chen Junne-jih (陳駿季) will officially take the helm of the Agriculture Ministry and Chen Shu-tzu (陳淑姿) will be appointed head of the Directorate General of Budget, Accounting and Statistics.
Cabinet members including Finance Minister Chuang Tsui-yun (莊翠雲), Overseas Community Affairs Council head Hsu Chia-ching (徐佳青), Ocean Affairs Council head Kuan Bi-ling (管碧玲), and head of the Directorate-General of Personnel Administration Su Chun-jung (蘇俊榮) will continue their respective duties with the new administration.
Premier-designate Cho said the appointments of the incoming Cabinet retain several incumbents, leveraging their extensive experience to drive the nation's progress. Cho urges the new Cabinet to adopt a proactive approach, using collective wisdom and teamwork to propose policies and draft bills. He highlights the Cabinet's commitment to fostering reconciliation between political factions and cooperation across sectors, setting a new era of unity and progress for the nation.
