The 2024 Taipei International Computer Show (COMPUTEX) will be held in the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center (TaiNEX) Halls 1 and 2 from June 4 to 7. Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) Chairman James C. F. Huang (黃志芳) spoke in a press conference before the event, saying that this showcase brings together the world's nine major technology giants to express their views on the latest technology.
Predicted to attract about 50,000 consumers, Huang emphasized that this year’s COMPUTEX includes nearly 13,000 international and domestic technology industry professionals. In addition, an unprecedented 1,000 plus global media personnel attended the press conference.
Huang stated the AI discussion, this year’s highlight, will undoubtedly be the focus for the next decade. He said that Taiwan’s place in the global AI ecosystem supply chain ensures that companies must seek support from Taiwan to realize its applications in human society. Huang affirmed that Taiwan’s tech industry strength will play a critical role in the AI era.
