The familiar classic green packaging, a talisman of sorts in the tech world that is usually placed on top of computers, as its name stands for “well-behaved”. At this year's Computex the beloved snack “KuaiKuai” has evolved, with cobranded products like small bags, mouse pads, and office gadgets with the KuaiKuai design.
The products will ship out on July 11 but are sure to be selling out as soon as they hit the shelves.
The launch of these collaborative products created quite a stir. When the exhibition kicked off on Tuesday, stocks disappeared instantly, leaving latecomers with only brief glimpses of what could have been theirs.
One person claims that the products showcase Taiwan's unique qualities and that these limited edition items are highly sought after, leading enthusiastic customers to look forward to regular releases of exclusive merchandise.
The Chairman of the Taiwan External Trade Development Council, Huang Chih-fang (黃志芳) hopes for a more value-driven experience at Computex and says the joint products are a great example of this.
Even President Lai Ching-te (賴清德) couldn't resist the allure, rocking a KuaiKuai pouch on the opening day and teasing Minister Pan Men-an (潘孟安) about the length of his strap.
Another highlight at this year's Computex is biscuit and pastry products featuring the Computex design incorporated into their packaging and contents. The treats not only satisfied cravings on-site but also served as souvenirs carrying the essence of Taiwan's tech culture.
