Taiwan's National Applied Research Laboratories (NARLabs) and the Czech Cybersecurity Hub signed and launched the Advanced Chip Design Research Center (ACDRC) on Tuesday.
NARLabs has detailed plans to collaborate with various chip design research teams and support Czech semiconductor development. This partnership aims to strengthen the connection between Taiwan’s semiconductor industry and the Czech Republic, creating a mutually beneficial relationship and boosting European semiconductor opportunities.
NARLabs President Lin Faa-Jeng (林法正) and the Director of the Cybersecurity Hub at Masaryk University Tomáš Pitner both attended the ceremony. Also in attendance were Czech Senate Vice President Jiří Drahoš and Deputy Minister of Science and Innovation Jana Havlíková as well as Taiwanese officials such as the head of the Foreign Ministry’s Department of European Affairs, Eric Huang (黃鈞耀).
