On Thursday, the South Korean military announced their discovery of North Korea escalating regional tensions through test-launching short-range ballistic missiles from the Pyongyang area toward the Sea of Japan early that morning.
The Foreign Ministry stated that Taiwan will continue to pay close attention to North Korea’s provocative actions in the region, and remains committed to working with like-minded countries to jointly safe-guard rules-based international order, and protect freedom, openness, prosperity and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
