The Taiwan High Speed Rail (THSR) announced on Wednesday a new “Buy-One-Get-One-Free” (BOGO) promotion to encourage international travelers to explore Taiwan’s central and southern regions. The promotion began on Wednesday and was launched in partnership with the Taiwan Tourism Administration.
THSR said the offer is only for tickets to Taichung and further south and is exclusive to travelers holding non-Taiwanese passports with short-term tourist visas. Eligible travelers can purchase one-way tickets through THSR's partnered distributors like KKday and Klook. With limited supplies, purchases can be made in advance and tickets are redeemable within 90 days.
In addition to the BOGO promotion, travelers can choose the "THSR Pass" or "THSR and TR Joint Pass" which allow unlimited travel on THSR and Taiwan Railway within a specified number of days. Bundled holiday packages, including hotel accommodations and car rentals, are also available with partnered travel agencies making it easy to explore and enjoy Taiwan’s attractions, cuisine, and culture.
