Taiwan’s Tourism Administation has launched an online game and lottery event titled "Taiwan Tour Bus - What Type of Traveler Are You?" The promotion showcases six themed tour packages and offers visitors the chance to win various prizes.
Starting Tuesday until December 31, participants can enter for a chance to win a year-round trip on Taiwan Tour Bus routes worth NT$50,000 (US$1554) by uploading a photo and tagging a friend. Other valuable prizes, such as accommodation vouchers, are also up for grabs.
The Tourism Administration’s Promotion Section Head, Huang Yi-ping (黃怡平) says that Taiwan Tour Bus is known for its in-depth travel experiences, offering half-day, full-day, or two-day tours. These exclusive small-group tours cover themes such as wellness, cultural heritage, trending activities, tribal culture, and hidden destinations, catering to a variety of traveler preferences.
Statistics show that Taiwan Tour Bus ridership peaked at 136,000 before the pandemic in 2019, with 40% being international travelers. After reopening last year, ridership rebounded to 49,000. From January to August of this year, ridership already reached 45,000.
The Tourism Administration hopes the online game will encourage domestic and international tourists to explore Taiwan’s beautiful attractions through the Taiwan Tour Bus packages. (only for the article) The link to the game can be found here.
