Visitors may get to experience hundreds of thousands of out-of-this-world blossoms at the Taichung International Flower Carpet Festival.

Nature lovers get to enjoy a showcase of over 200,000 flowering plants spread across two hectares at the Taichung International Flower Carpet Festival. Set against a backdrop of perfect blue skies, the vibrant flower fields offer visitors a picturesque landscape.
The seven main art installations feature spaceships, rockets, and even an alien bug, all following this year’s theme of A Flower World in Space.
Some visitors say that they left as early as 6 a.m. to arrive at the venue by the opening time of 8:30 a.m. One man says he feels like he is ready to fly into space, and this parent adds that kids are sure to enjoy themselves at the festival. Santa even dropped by to bring a touch of Christmas spirit.
As people head out to enjoy the sun, smell the roses, and check out the out-of-this-world blooms, visitors are reminded to stay out of the flower beds so that everyone can get to enjoy a ‘dandy’ day.
