Lovers of fry-ups get ready to feast on fried food heaven! Kaohsiung’s “Salted Chicken Carnival” is back, sizzling its way into town on December 7 and 8.

Nearly 50 of Taiwan’s top fried snack vendors will gather for this two-day competition, featuring popular online brands and local market favorites. Vendors will showcase everything from fried squid to golden chicken fillets with cheese, and a variety of other yummy, crispy food.

Of course, Taiwan’s favorite street food, salty crispy fried chicken, will be one of the main highlights. These delicious bite-sized fried pieces of chicken are seasoned with salt, pepper, garlic, and basil and are not to be missed. Last year’s winner for Best in Flavor, “Fu Lai Fried Chicken” will also be back with their signature spicy chicken leg snack.

Whatever your favorite fried food may be, be sure to go for a fry-tastic time as Taiwan’s best compete for the ultimate crunch!
