Commemorating Taiwan’s historic victory in the 2024 WBSC Premier12, Chunghwa Post unveiled a special series of four stamps on Wednesday. The commemorative stamps, each valued at NT$12 (US$0.37), feature different aspects of the championship team, including “Taiwan’s heroes with the championship trophy,” “ace pitchers,” “ultimate team,” and “golden coaching staff.”
Premier Cho Jung-tai (卓榮泰), Transportation Minister Chen Shih-kai (陳世凱), and Chunghwa Post Chairman Wang Kwo-tsai (王國材) attended the launch ceremony alongside WBSC team representatives, including Head Coach Tseng Hao-chu (曾豪駒) and players Chen Kuan-yu (陳冠宇), Yueh Tung-hua (岳東華), Pan Chieh-kai (潘傑楷), and Chen Chen-wei (陳晨威).
During the ceremony, Premier Cho reflected on last November's championship game, noting how the team's journey captivated the entire nation. He expressed gratitude to Chunghwa Post for preserving this historic moment. Cho urged the Cabinet to emulate the baseball team's spirit, emphasizing that everyone has the potential to achieve great success for Taiwan.
