Radio Taiwan International (Rti) signed a letter of intent for cooperation with the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST) this Tuesday. The two institutions are expected to cooperate in the fields of digital learning, AI technology application, and communication technology through exchanges, internships, courses, workshops, and more.
Rti President Chang Jui-Chang (張瑞昌) highlighted Rti’s recent Journalism Trust Initiative (JTI) certification and recognition by the Defense Ministry’s Political Warfare Bureau, noting that NTUST will be the eighth school to sign a letter of intent with the station. Chang says Rti is home to many talented individuals, likening it to a treasure trove. With foreign language hosts hailing from all across the world, he said the partnership will help broaden the students’ international horizons and welcomes the school on board.
NTUST President Yen Jia-yush (顏家鈺) said he hopes to strengthen the school’s general liberal arts education to enable students to adapt to the rapidly changing world environment. Yen said while he is confident in the academic and technological skills students possess after their classroom training, the partnership can offer enrichment that extends beyond that.
