The Foreign Ministry announced in a press release on Tuesday that Taiwan and North Macedonia have agreed to extend their bilateral visa-free policy until March 31, 2030.

This agreement will allow citizens from both countries to enter each other's territory without requiring a visa. The policy will take effect on April 1 this year. The ministry further clarifies that Taiwanese passport holders are permitted to stay in North Macedonia up to 90 days every six months. Foreign ministries of both Taiwan and North Macedonia have updated their websites with the latest visa information.

The ministry reminded Taiwanese citizens to comply with North Macedonia's laws during their stay and to remain mindful of their safety. In case of emergencies, citizens can contact the Taipei Representative Office in Italy at +39-366-806-6434 or reach the Ministry's emergency hotline at 0800-085-095.
