Former President Tsai Ing-wen (蔡英文) is visiting Lithuania as part of her ongoing European trip.
On Sunday, Tsai visited the Trakai History Museum and Gediminas' Castle Tower. In the afternoon, she met with around 20 Taiwanese students studying in Lithuania, and wished them success with their studies as she gave them various Taiwanese snacks.
On Monday, Tsai will deliver a speech at Vilnius University and speak to former Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaitė.
On Tuesday, Tsai will travel to Denmark to attend the eighth Copenhagen Democracy Summit.
While Tsai’s European trip originally just included Lithuania and Denmark, an additional stop in the United Kingdom was announced this Monday.
