Taiwan’s World Masters Games will end this Friday, May 30, with a grand closing ceremony including music, light, and firework performances centered around the “We are the World” theme at the New Taipei City Art Museum.
The performances will begin following speeches by the International Masters Games Association president, Taipei City and New Taipei City mayors, and representatives from the next host city in Japan.
Performers include the drag queen champion Nymphia Wind, hip hop group Caotun Boyz, singer-songwriter Kasiwa, DJ RayRay, boy band Energy, and more. The ceremony will come to a close with a 20-minute finale by the boy band Energy.
As the event is open to the public, the New Taipei City Government reminds spectators to arrive early. The closing ceremony will also be broadcast live on Formosa Television, Videoland Sports, and other online platforms for audiences from around the world to enjoy.
