Eva Air, one of Taiwan’s major international carriers, is offering passengers departing from Taipei on Wednesday the chance to enjoy a very special inflight meal.
Though many Taiwanese people traveling during the Lunar New Year holiday will be returning to their hometowns, others will be heading abroad. Eva Air is bringing those unable to make it home for the traditional New Year’s Eve feast a chance to enjoy gourmet versions of classic New Year’s dishes. The airline will offer the service on all flights departing Taipei after 9:00 am Wednesday, with the exception of the short-haul route to Okinawa.
The airline will offer a variety of dishes. These will range from fish cakes and vegetables in Economy Class to luxuries such as abalone, sea cucumber, and New Year’s favorite “Buddha Jumps over the Wall” in the airline's most expensive cabins.
