Seventy-two people have become millionaires in the first two days of the Chinese New Year holiday. That’s the word from the Taiwan Lottery Company on Friday.
Every year, the Taiwan Lottery Company adds millions of Taiwan dollars to its Chinese New Year jackpots. Extra drawings are also held with hundreds of prizes available worth at least NT$1 million each.
This year, with total prizes reaching NT$680 million, more than 300 people are expected to become millionaires. Several lucky winners can even become multimillionaires.
