The government hopes to make Taiwan’s land survey data more easily available to the public.
On Thursday Vice Premier Simon Chang met with environmental protection groups to learn their views on how such data can be used. Environmental groups said they hope that more data can be made available to the public. Currently, only wetland survey data are open to the public. In response, Chang said the government will launch a platform for the public to access more land survey data.
