Taiwan's top female golfer, Yani Tseng, finished in a three-way tie for second at the 2015 Honda LPGA tournament in Thailand on Sunday. Her scores in Thailand were her best in more than nine months.
Tseng, was once the top female golfer in the world. Her last top 10 finish in an LPGA event was in May, 2014, when she tied for second at the Kingsmill Championship in the US state of Virginia.
On Sunday, Tseng fired a five-under 67 to finish with a 13-under 275, tied with American Stacy Lewis and Korean Mirim Lee, two shots behind the winner, Korean Amy Yang. Tseng’s performance was her first finish of double digits under par since the Reignwood LPGA Classic in China in October, 2013.
Tseng won the Thai LPGA stop in both 2011 and 2012.
