Shares related to the Apple Watch went up in Taiwan after Apple Inc. unveiled its Apple Watch overnight. These include Advanced Semiconductor Engineering Inc., the world's largest integrated circuit packaging and testing services provider, TPK Holding Co., and printed circuit board maker Kinsus Interconnect Technology Corp.
But overall, Taiwan shares closed down 26.45 points, or 0.27 percent, at 9,536.53 Tuesday.
