Shares in Taiwan closed higher on Thursday. That’s in the wake of gains posted on Wall Street overnight, amid fears that the US Federal Reserve will raise interest rates sooner than the market has expected.
The benchmark TAIEX closed up 20.34 points, or 0.22 %, at 8,944.16.
