Fashion designers Jason Wu and Alexander Wang are candidates on Time magazine’s online poll for the 100 most influential persons of 2013. Topping the online poll is Canadian singer Justin Bieber.
Jason Wu was born in Taiwan and later immigrated to Canada. He became a global name after First Lady Michelle Obama wore his dress to the inauguration ball. Alexander Wang was raised in San Francisco by Taiwanese-American parents. Both designers are favorites of the stylish Michelle Obama and have made a name for themselves in the competitive world of fashion.
There is still time to vote for your favorites. The list covers famous names in politics, fashion, business, movies, sports, music and media. The online poll ends at April 22 11:59pm, and the persons chosen by online readers will be announced on April 23. Time editors choose the official Time 100 list.
