The Taipei Computer Applications Show, the biggest consumer electronics trade show this summer, has kicked off.
Sales at this year’s event are expected to grow thanks to the launch of Microsoft’s new operating system, Windows 10. President of Acer Taiwan, Towny Huang, explains.
"We certainly hope that the launch of Win 10 will help create demand and boost sales volumes at the computer applications show," Huang said. "Our target is a 30% increase over last year."
The Taiwan External Trade Development Council says the exhibition will showcase gaming laptops, tablet computers, wearable devices, digital single-lens reflex cameras, and smartphones.
