Taiwan’s tennis players Chan Yung-jan and Chan Hao-ching have made it into the quarter finals at the Bank of the West Classic Women’s Doubles.
The Chan sisters were up against Kimiko Date-Krumm of Japan and Mandy Minella of Luxemburg. The Chans won 6-1, 6-3 in just 53 minutes.
The Bank of the West Classic began on Saturday in Stanford, California. The tournament is part of the 2015 Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) Tour. The event is the longest running women’s only tennis tournament. Total prize money this year amounts to US$731,000.
