Mainland Affairs Council (MAC) Minister Andrew Hsia is set to arrive in the United States Friday evening. This is Hsia’s second US visit in a month.
During his stay in the US, Hsia will give a speech on Taiwan’s relations with China at an event marking the 40th anniversary of the Chinese American Academic & Professional Society’s founding. He will also go to Philadelphia to attend an event celebrating the 28th anniversary of the Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association’s establishment. In addition, Hsia will meet with leaders of expatriate communities to explain the government’s current cross-strait policy.
Hsia will wrap up his US visit next Friday.
