A Canadian weekly, The Georgia Straight, is encouraging young Canadians to come to Taiwan for working holidays and studies.
Taiwan and Canada have an agreement which allows young Canadians aged 18 to 35 to obtain visas to Taiwan for study, career training, and working holidays.
