Shares in Taiwan closed higher Thursday as investors were encouraged by a strong technical rebound on Wall Street overnight. That’s in the wake of a U.S. Federal Reserve report signaling optimism toward the U.S. economic climate.
The weighted index on the Taiwan Stock Exchange ended up 60.66 points, or 0.75 percent, at 8,095.95.
