Kin Moy, the head of the American Institute in Taiwan (AIT) has met with Taiwan’s legislative president to push for the signing of Taiwan-US bilateral investment agreement.
On Friday, Legislative President Wang Jin-pyng said that Moy hopes to facilitate the conclusion a bilateral investment agreement during his term as head of AIT.
However, Wang said that his discussions with Moy did not turn to the subject of a US-supplied arms package, which US-Taiwan Business Council President Rupert Hammond-Chambers has said will be coming next year.
